Adobe Flash Player 11.3 Installer - annoying piece of shit

Just like the Flash itself, I can't wait for it to end up on a broken technology graveyard, especially because Adobe has made it to be so annoying.
Every time there is a new update for Adobe Flash Player I cringe and start gritting my teeth wishing to smash the computer into bits because I have to tell their retarded installer repeatedly that I want it to notify me to install the updates.
It seems to be in vain though, because it always defaults to this:
Adobe Flash Player Installer seems to be doing this on purpose to coerce users into allowing unsupervised updates — regardless of what I have chosen next time when there is an update it will default to "Allow Adobe to install updates (recommended)".
Now don't get me wrong, security updates are a good thing, enforcing them on technically illiterate masses is also a good thing, but some of us need more control because sometimes we are in a hurry, we need to use our computer without delay, and we just want to click on "Remind me later" instead of allowing stupid installer to waste our time by being in the way.
It wouldn't be such a big deal if only one program wanted to update itself. Unfortunately, nowadays you have dozens of updaters, everything wants to install an auto-update service on your computer and it will generally pop up when you least expect it, steal the focus and use the topmost window attribute as if their stupid update task is the only thing worth seeing on your PC screen.
You may think that auto-updates are good, because they are free and they are improving the product you purchased, but in most cases they are just a proof that what you have bought was only half-finished, not to mention that updates are as free as your time wasted in tinkering with installing them.
All this crap which software developers keep pushing on unsuspecting users who don't know that it doesn't have to be this way makes one wonder — why is common sense such a rare trait nowadays?
