As I said here my LCD monitor ceased to work because of two bad capacitors in its switching power supply.

Those capacitors have been replaced, as well as two additional ones which were likely to fail according to the manufacturer's service bulletin.

Monitor is Viewsonic VP930b so if you have one which refuses to turn on, or turns on and off on its own repeatedly when you power it up, most likely you have the same problem.

Another issue you might encounter with your Viewsonic VP930b is "snowy" picture on certain color gradients. That other issue is caused by a flat cable which was incorrectly placed during assembly so that it gets pinched between two plastic edges causing the cable to break progressively. If replaced and put in correctly it won't happen again.

Monitor is otherwise very good so there is no reason to replace it even if you encounter those issues while under warranty, unless of course you want to upgrade to wide or simply bigger screen.
